Three rules for losing weight

The first rule is to eat often and at certain times!

Each person must build their own power grid. Someone wakes up early, someone late. Therefore, the first meal should be 15-25 minutes after you wake up. To get started, drink a glass of warm boiled water with 1 tsp. lemon and 1/2 tsp. honey.

Then breakfast comes. Breakfast should be hearty. Scientists have found that people who do not neglect breakfast have a lower BMI (body mass index), and not only consume fewer calories, but also eat much less during the day. In addition, the right breakfast for weight loss is one that contains foods that activate metabolism. When we skip breakfast, our blood sugar drops and we feel hungry in the morning, leading to a diet high in carbohydrates of questionable quality at lunchtime, which is a guaranteed way to gain weight. One way to keep your blood sugar stable and control your appetite is to eat enough protein for breakfast: Ideally, breakfast could include, for example, an egg white omelet and low fat yogurt.

Less saturated proteins and salad or other vegetables for lunch will keep you feeling full for several hours. In the middle of the day, you can grab a light snack with protein and fiber - like hard-boiled eggs, low-fat cheese, protein energy bar - so you don't rush to life-saving carbs at 4:00 pm.

The second rule is to eat in small portions!

Eat small meals and choose small food containers. As recent studies have shown, if people eat large plates and also serve their own food, they actually eat more. In one study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, 85 subjects were asked to eat a bowl of ice cream. Moreover, all the vases and spoons were of different sizes. Scientists found that participants in the experiment who received larger dishes ate 31% more ice cream. If ice cream was applied in large spoons, then the plate contained 14.5% more dessert. So while large plates look nice, save them for special occasions. Remember, once you see a large container, you will naturally want to fill it!

The third rule is to eat right!

That's right - it means not in a hurry, without the intervention of external stimuli, such as TV, talking on the phone, etc. The biggest mistake people make when trying to lose weight is eating fast and on the go. I will tell you this, even if you just stop eating on the go and skipping main meals, you can lose a few pounds. Many cite the fact that it is very difficult for a working person to adhere to the system. This is all nonsense. It's just that a person is too lazy to prepare food for himself in advance and drag it all to work. It is much easier to come home in the evening, "swallow" food on the go and lose weight further. We do not notice how we throw into our stomach a huge amount of food, which in terms of calorie content exceeds the entire required daily norm.
